Everest Base Camp Trek


Himalayan Vista Trekking is the leading adventure company legally registered in Nepal in 2016. We priority on safety, satisfaction, and happiness of our customers. 
We humbly request our valued customers to study our terms and conditions carefully before booking a trip with us! These terms and conditions are valid from the date our customer booked the trip with us. 


BOOKING CONDITIONS 

For trekking, tours and peak climbing in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan, a copy of your passport, completion of our online booking form and a 20% deposit in advance of the total trip cost are requested at the time of booking. The 20% deposit is non–refundable once you have conformed booking, even canceled the booking at any time. 
The remaining fees must be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu for the commencement of your trekking, tour or peak climbing. The trip fees can be paid in cash in US dollars, by credit card or via wire transfer. 
Please remember that payments by card will be subject to an additional processing charge. 
Note. For Tibet and Bhutan Tours, the full remaining payment must be paid at least 20 days before your departure schedule date. If you intend to fly directly to the target destinations.  We reserve the authority to cancel the trip if payment is not received within the mentioned timeframe.

LAST MINUTE BOOKING 

We also accept last-minute bookings. You can book your trip at least 3 days before the trip departure date. However, last-minute bookings will not be acceptable in the case of the Tibet and Bhutan tours.


POSTPONE THE TRIP (VALID ONLY  FOR NEPAL)

If you are not able to travel on the scheduled dates for any unforeseen reason, you may need to postpone the trip to a later date as per your convenience. This policy is only valid within Nepal, and you can choose your travel date again for confirmation and use the full trip credit when you decide to travel in the future. We provide this trip postponement service without applying any additional charges.  

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

If you cancel your trip, please keep in mind that the 20% deposit paid at the time of booking will be treated as a trip cancellation charge, which is immediately valid once your booking is confirmed. The 20% deposit is non-refundable. 
If you have already deposited an amount exceeding then we will deduct 20% for the trip deposit from the total amount received, and the remaining amount will be refunded to you through the original payment method.   


RISK AND LIABILITIES 

All the Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan tours are carried out through the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the related countries. We are not liable for any government restrictions, natural disasters, political issues and instability, flight cancellations, delays, unforeseen accidents and sickness, etc. If any extra cost is incurred because of such circumstances, clients should be borne by themselves. So, we highly recommend travel insurance. 


INCOMPLETE TRIP POLICY 

The company is not responsible for issuing refunds for any tour, trek, or peak climbing which is left incomplete due to personal decisions, health problems, or any reasons arising from the client’s side. Once the trip has resumed, no refund will be given for unused services, missed days, or early exits, regardless of the reason. 


UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES 

If the trip is cancelled or disrupted due to circumstances out of our control, including natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, political instability, government restrictions, or safety-related concerns, in this situation the trip will not be refunded. 


TRAVEL INSURANCE 

Travel insurance is compulsory for all clients joining any of our trips. Your insurance policy must be covered for medical treatment, personal accidents, emergency evacuation with helicopter rescue, trip cancellation or interruption, loss or damage of personal gear, luggage, and natural hazards. 
Clients are responsible for carefully checking their insurance policy details with any excess or deductible amounts. In the event of an emergency, any excess payment or charge not covered by the insurance provider must be paid directly by the client at the time of service. 


FLIGHT DELAY/ CANCELLETION 

Flight delays and cancellations are likely to occur during bad weather conditions in remote areas, especially in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot, and the Jumla area. In that case, Himalayan Vista Trekking will not be responsible for any of the additional costs; please plan accordingly. 


DURING THE TOUR 

If a client violates the laws or engage crime prohibited or inappropriate activities during the tour and, as a result, is detained, fined, deported, or needs to leave Nepal by authorities, HVT will not take responsibility for any refunds, compensation, or recovery of unused services. All costs, penalties, or results arising from such actions shall be responsible clients themselves.

Our terms and conditions are applicable who book their trip directly with us. But if you book your trip through any agents or third parties, you shall respect their terms and conditions.
