Everest Gokyo Lake Trekking - 14 Days

Kathmandu Durbar square is another major heritage site to visit for its Newari art and architectures also can see the living goddess Kumari.

Early morning drive to the domestic airport of Kathmandu for flight to Lukla. The Lukla flight is an awesome experience in your life of 25 minutes. Their caretaker will take care of your luggage and head towards Phakding. Trek to Phakding walk along the rocky trails and walk along the Dudhkosi River and view the MountKusum Kanggaru then finally reach to the Phakding overnight stay at tea house.

After breakfast, we start walking along the riverbank of the Dudhkoshi River past through the rocky trails. The way goes through the dense forest of pine and rhododendron crisscross over several suspension bridges and reaches up to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mount Everest. This is the center point for trading all kinds of trekking gears and foods as it is the big market in the high Himalayan area most of the Everest region treks connect here as it is the trekking junction of all trekking of Khumbu region. Namche is the most prominent place to view the attractive view of mountains on the horizon. This place is the acclimatization spot for all the trekkers. On the hike up to Namche Bazaar have the opportunity to see the first glimpse of Mount Everest from Top Danda.

This day most importantly sectioned for acclimatization for doing around surroundings villages for your adjustment with the altitudes. After breakfast start the hike up to Syngboche Airport (3700m), the walk inside the pine and rhododendron forests. Have the panoramic view of mighty Himalaya in the zenith including Mt. Everest. After walking through the meadow reach the Khumjung School also know as Hilary school and get in the Khumjung village(3790m) located in the lap of Mount Khumbila (5761m). On the way back we visit the Everest photo gallery and stay in the hotel.

After breakfast, we head over easy trails up to Sanasa and way go steeply up the pine and rhododendron forests. In the spring rhododendron flowers are blooming in the site makes graceful around the area. The way crosses over many terraces of Himalayan yak herd grazing terrace and reaches to Mong La Danda. Then way steep down to Phorche Thangna, then the path goes up to rocky trails in the dense forests of different plants then react to Dole.

After breakfast trek up to Machhermo walking steep up in the high grassland. There are Yak pastures for grazing and see the mountain scenery and reach Luza( 4360m). The route continues to climb over along the side of the valley, high above the River, crossing sandy pours to Machhermo.

After breakfast, you climb towards the Gokyo as you award with the beautiful scenery of Mount Kangtega and Cho- Oyu(8201m). Additionally, we walk from alongside Phangan and walk on the messy moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier the biggest glacier of Nepal. Furthermore, we witness the series of stunning pristine deep green Gokyo lakes step by step in our hikes such as a first lake, second lake, and third lake. After heading up past over the second lake we reach to Gokyo and stay there and go to see the Himalayan panorama and Ngozumpa Glacier and rest in the tea house.

After breakfast starts the hike up to fifth lake taking pack lunch with us because there is no place for lunch place on the way. Hike in the rocky trails makes you feel as you are walking in a part of heaven as the environment is very peaceful and beautiful. After you are walking up in the way we get in the fourth lake in the winter all lakes almost frozen and sometimes it has half frozen and half deep green water makes your mind fabulous. As walking along the path you see most of the mountains in the Mahalangur Himalayan Range such as Mount Everest, Cho- Oyu, and other mountains very closely. Then get after fifth lake hike down to Gokyo and overnight stay at tea house.

Early in the morning wake up and hike up to Gokyo Ri. You need to take a trekking light to see the way as we walk in the dark for towards Gokyo Ri walking around 3 hours. You will see the splendid view of varieties of mountains like Mount Everest, Mount Cho- Oyu, Makalu, Thamserku, Amadablam and many more. Likewise, hike down to tea house in Goky eat breakfast and trek down to Dole.

Trek down to Namche Bazaar seeing by the most stunning view of virgin mountains, Rhododendron, and alpine forests.

Trek steady down along the bank of the Dudhkoshi River to the beautiful Sherpa habitant Bazaar Lukla where you will take your flight to Kathmandu overnight stay at Guesthouse.

After breakfast, we go to Tenzing Hilary airport and take our boarding card and fly to Kathmandu and sometime if flight early we need to eat our breakfast in Kathmandu and rest in the hotel go around Thamel overnight stay at Hotel.

Visit around the local market of Ason where you can see Nepali foods for sell and local people and shopping as per your wants then in the evening transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport and fly back to your home.
