Wonderful Annapurna Circuit Trek embarks with the stunning views of the entire Annapurna massif reaching at the horizon of Thorong La Pass (5416 m/17,769 ft). The track goes through the world’s deepest gorge of the Kaligandaki River with Annapurna I rising up to 8091 m in the east and Dhaulagiri standing at 8167 m to the western part, as we also savor the astounding views of mountain series from Poon Hill and explore the diverse Annapurna province.

Moreover, the Annapurna circuit trek is the spiritual journey to purify your soul visiting by the great Hindu temple Muktinath and the trip experiences different cultures in the trekking places, an encounter with the verities of flora and fauna on the way. Further, the journey leads by Manang, Jomsom, and the Muktinath region which gets you acquainted with the diverse Nepalese religion and landscapes of the beautiful Himalayas.

Furthermore, the Annapurna circuit trek is an adventurous trip that offers a complete scenic journey in the lap of mighty Himalayas. In this trek, your eyes encounter with the giant mountains Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft), Annapurna South (7,219m/ 23,693 ft), Gangapurna (7,455m/24,457ft), and Annapurna III (7,555m/ 24,787 ft), Lamjung Himal (6,931m) and in the east worlds 8th highest mountain Manaslu (8,163 m) Pisang peak (6091m), Chulu East (6,584m), Chulu West (6,419m) and the massive range of world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m) with the terrain of Nilgiri, Tukuche and Baraha Chuli and virgin Mt. Machhapuchre (Fishtail) (6,793 m).

In particular, Annapurna Circuit is a trek beyond the mountain ranges of central Nepal, 160 – 230 kilometers lengthy route depending upon where motor transportation available at the end of the trek. This trek also crosses two different river valley and circle the Annapurna Massif. The track gets the highest point at Thorong La pass on the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Most of the trekkers practically hike the route anticlockwise for the gaining altitude slower day by day, as for crossing the high pass is easier and safer. The trek starts from Besisahar in the Marsyngdi River valley and concludes in the Kaligandaki River as Besishar can reach by seven hours drive from Kathamndu and the trail passes along the landmark of paddy fields towards subtropical forests, various typical villages and gigantic waterfalls on the way.

The trek encircle above greenery pasturelands of middle hills crossing through several traditional villages of Magar and Gurung ethnic tribes closer to the snow-capped Himalayan region. On leaving the alpine forests, journey entering the dry arctic verdant of Manang valley across the Himalayan zone of Tibetan lifestyle in cultures, traditions, and religions. We rest one day for acclimatization before the Thorong La Pass of the Annapurna circuit and explore Manang on that day visiting the surrounding area.

Accordingly, after the adjustment with altitude in the Manang journey steadily goes to the higher terrain of the dry land of the Tibetan plateau of Thorong La pass, the highest point of the trek offering a tremendous beautiful panorama of the outstanding rugged spot of the circuit. We take some pictures in the zenith and spend some more time there than descend our walking downhill to Muktinath valley of Ranipauwa. Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, sacred for both Hindu and Buddhist perhaps one of the world’s highest temples in the altitude of 3800 m. Buddhists believe the statue belongs to Avalokitesvara, the compassion of all Buddhas.

As, Muktinath, it means place of liberation, many pilgrims come here to worship to overcome all sins that they did in their life and get Moksha. This is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites among the entire Hindu province. There, from Muktinath, we can get the vehicle but we choose walking get Kagbeni village, a very beautiful village is the junction for the way to Ranipauwa village and Upper Mustang.

Finally, the trek reaches at Tatopani, a natural “Hot Spring” coming inside through earth. It is believed that if a shower in this hot spring takes out the ailments of physical disease. By the other day heading up to the Ghorepani best vantage point for the observation of mountain scenery from Poon Hill. In conclusion, the Annapurna circuit trek end at Pokhara was an exceptional view of adventure city Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake.
