Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek - 16 Days

In the morning after breakfast, our tour guide will take you around the UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. You will feel the religious phenomenon of the city of temples, Kathmandu. The Kathmandu covers by hills in the surroundings, local people use to follow different cultures and religion as you will visit Durbar Square, The Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. The Kathmandu Durbar square consists of many series of Hindu Temples and also can see the museum and wood carvings from the medieval period. Most of the buildings are built in pagoda styles in the unique way of stone masonry and well organized beautiful wood crafting. On the other hand, Pashupatinath temple belongs to the great Hindu Temple, many people from India and Nepal use to come to celebrate the Shivaratri festival in Pashupatinath Temple. It is also a significant place to observe the Hindu cremation ceremony in the bank of the holy Bagmati River. The Swoyambhunath Stupa located in the hilltop of Kathamndu can see the combination view of Kathmandu city and the Mountains on the horizon. Another beautiful site you visit on the same day is Bouddhnath Stupa stands in the great Mandala.  Sightseeing in the world heritage sites let your knowledge about the history of Nepal and religion. After sightseeing, come back to the hotel and stay at the Hotel Annapurna. Meal: Breakfast included.

A breathtaking flight to Lukla from Kathmandu or Manthali airport will start the hiking journey. The flight is considered as one of the most adventure short flight in the world. The Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla located in the lap of beautiful mountains and affected by weather conditions, the runway of the airport is short as it ends to the deep gaping place below. It is the thrilling adventure flying to Lukla is quite fascinating with the beautiful scenery of the mountains. After a short stay in Lukla collecting baggage then walk down to Cheplung Village. You will be awarded by sacred mountain Khumbila crossing on the way to rocky trails down in the deep green Dudh Koshi River. The beautiful village of Phakding is situated in the lap of Himalaya, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch Dinner included.

In the morning after breakfast, we begin to trek in the corridor towards Namche Bazaar. On the way trek to Namche Bazaar, we cross several villages like Jorsalle and Monjo. Monjo is lying in the bank of the Dudh Koshi River and it is the checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park. The track goes down and crosses the suspension bridge then after Jorsalle heading uphill and cross the long suspension bridge, walk steep up through the alpine and rhododendron wood and reach to the Top Danda, from where we can see the first glimpse of Mt Everest. The Everest Base Camp trail to Namche Bazaar presents many more virtues, like alpine forests, beautiful small beautiful streams, deciduous jungle, etc. Those sacred mountain landscapes are enlisted under the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. The greenery in the Namche valley inspired us to do more adventure in the land of the Himalayan zone, overnight stay at the Namche Bazaar. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Today is the adjustment time in the high altitude as the Namche Bazaar is the best place for acclimatization. The beautiful scenery around Namche is great and views the spectacular and beautiful sights on the horizon. After breakfast walk steeply up to Syangboche Airport and from there you can get two was, one way goes to Khumjung Valley and the other one goes to Everest View Hotel. You have an option to choose either way to Khumjung valley or Everest View Hotel. Both places are nice as Khumjung is in the base of holy Mt. Khumbila with the unique settlement of the Sherpa ethnic group. And from the Everest View Hotel, you can see the close view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde Ri, and other mountains. The Hotel is probably located on top of the world and back to Namche Bazaar and overnight stay at the tea house. After breakfast in the morning, trekking begins to easy trail towards Sanasa. Then, the track goes steeply down in the rocky trail inside the rhododendron woods and alpine forests at the settlement of Phungi Tengga. The clear views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding mountains can be seen from the following trail. The track goes steeply up from the Phungi Tengga and reaches to Tengboche. The journey from Namche to Tengboche is the intermingling of the magnificent scenery of jungle, hills, rivers, and towering mountain peaks. The Tengboche monastery is the main attraction of this place as the Tengboche lies in the confluence of the Imja Khola and Dudh Koshi River surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains. Tengboche monastery is the largest monastery of Khumbu province as it is the unique monastery of the region. It is also regarded as the spiritual hub of the Everest region surrounded by green forests where musk deer, Himalayan goats, Lophoporus, and eagles inhabited. The hiking trail descent the rhododendron woods.  The journey then moves towards the Pangboche Sherpa settlement passing through the suspension bridge towards the beautiful village Dingboche. Dingboche is also called the “Summer Valley” of Khumbu lies in the lap of the lofty Himalayas. From Dingboche, we can see the outstanding panorama of Mt. Amadablam, Lhotse, Island Peak, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Dingboche is the most prominent village for acclimatization; we can say that the acclimatization in this place is the halfway reaching in the EBC. The hiking to Nagarjun Hill is a great way to do acclimatization with the altitude as Nagarjun Hill located at the height of 5100 meters reclines just above Dingboche on a hill at the edge of Island peak. The hike is steeply uphill and requires a bit arduous energy. We will reach at the top walking around 4 hours from where magical scenery of Lobuche East (6119m), Khangtega (6685m), Lobuche West (6145m), Thamserku (6608m), Tawache peak (6367m), and the Ama Dablam (6856m) can be encountered in your eyes. If the weather is clear you can see the stunning view of Mt. Makalu (world’s fifth-highest peak). It is an outstanding view of Pheriche valley from the top and return back to Dingboche and overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

After breakfast in the morning, we will set our trekking goal to Lobuche. We walk through the verdant of grassy land where the locals use to grazing yaks crossing through the Trekkers Aid Post situated at Pheriche (4210m). This is run by the Western Volunteer Doctors and assisted by the Himalayan Rescue Association and the aid post-treatment to the trekkers. Then the trail meets up to Thukla and walk steep up to Thukla pass and catch the view of Pumori, Khumbutse, Lingtren of the Mahalangur Himalayan range are awesome. Then after we will check-in at the tea house and overnight stay there. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

This day the walk will commence with a slow walk up to the Gorakshep by rocky trail. Walking slowly for avoiding the probability of altitude sickness further on from Lobuche and rest at some point. Walking by 4 hours we will reach to Gorakshep and check-in at the tea house and eat our lunch then heading towards the Everest Base Camp. There are limited tea houses at Gorakshep so in the peak season it may need to adjust with other people for the accommodation in the peak season. From here the trail goes straight on the rocky trail and walks through the looser rock somewhere and gets in Everest Base Camp. You will feel that you are in heaven while you reach the base camp then you use your time there for photography and view the surrounding mountains and back to Gorakshep and stay overnight there. Wake up early in the morning and walking steeply up to Kalapthhar from Gorakshep is the other fact of this trek. Kalapathar is the main vantage point to see the astounding view of Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse, and other peaks. Hiking to Kalapthar early morning reward to mesmerizing views of the Everest Himalayan series with a beautiful sunrise. After spending some time to Kalapthar then back to Gorakshep and trek down to Pheriche, overnight stay there. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

The trail descends to Imja Khola River all the way to Tengboche. From Tengboche, we will steeply descend to Phungi Tengga then walk up to Kyangjuma and reach Namche Bazaar. It is very soft and smooth hiking back with the sight of the landscape and the outstanding Himalayas. You can observe the lifestyles, local cultures, and customs and their activities on the way, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

The trek down to Lukla follows the steeply downhill and crosses suspension bridges. Small Chortens, Mani walls beautiful typical villages, and the rocky trails. We get down to see picturesque views of silver color snow-capped mountains and rhododendron forests decorated the terrain. After reach at the Lukla feel the victory over Everest Base Camp Trek Adventure. In the evening celebrate the successful journey to EBC. Overnight Stay at the Luxurious Lodge, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

25 minutes awesome fly back to Kathmandu ends the trekking adventure of the journey. You can see the awesome landscape from the aircraft again and after landing in the Kathmandu domestic airport you will transfer to Hotel Annapurna where you will stay overnight. Breakfast included.
