Our airport representative will welcome you at the airport any time of your arrival and transfer to the hotel by private vehicle. While you check in the hotel then we will explain your further program and relax your time after a long flight, overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02  :  Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and prepare for the trek

Our city tour guide will take you around the World Heritage Sites for the historical, religious, and cultural tour. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples has many touristic sites to visit and study the art and architecture from the medieval period. You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square mixed of pagoda styles temples representing by god and goddess an old palace complex that carried the importance of the former royal palace of the Nepalese monarchy including the well organized wooden carved temples, various gods, old valuable monuments, and statues of different god and goddess. You will see the unique art and architecture in wooden arts, metal arts, in the doors windows, and in the yards by Newari artist of the medieval period.  Another destination of the tour is the holy Pashupatinath Temple is important for its Hinduism features located in the bank of the holy Bagmati River. During the festival of Teej and Mahashivaratri the temple is full of pilgrims from Nepal and India, many Babas, Sadhus come from India and they do fire the whole night and sing the song of Lord Shiva. You can also observe the Hindu cremation ceremony in the bank of the Bagmati River. The tour steadily leads to other destinations to Swoyambunath Stupa (monkey temple) located in the hilltop that has sacred value for both Hindu and Buddhist followers of Nepal. From Swoyambunath Temple you can observe the awesome view of Kathmandu valley and the mountains on the horizon. The final tour destination of the day is Bouddhanath Stupa built is the octagonal architecture of great Mandala. After the sightseeing returns back to the hotel and prepares for other days trek. This day we drive from Kathmandu to Ringmo via Phaplu and begin a short trek to Takshindo. On the way drive to Ringmo, you can experience the typical village life in remote areas of Nepal. Leaving the crowded city the drive goes into the peaceful setting of the rural areas along within the hilly farming region. Phaplu is a small settlement with an airport that is surrounded by lush green hills. While you arrive at Ringmo, you will follow the hiking trail leads towards Takshindo. Since there you can see the cheese factory manufactures dairy and cheese made by the mountain livestock and the local people keeping their cattle and grazing domestic animals around the terrace, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

After breakfast in the morning, we will visit the local lively area in Takshindo and also visit Takshindo Monastery. After that, we will process our trek descending alongside the Dudh Koshi River from where the trail raises up to several Sherpa villages, fields, and forests to Khari Khola. It will be the relaxing trek as the Himalayan terrain accompanied by the gushing river. The journey is also worthy to study the Himalayan Buddhism and Sherpa cultures and the Takshindo Monastery tutor the young monks Buddhist disciples about the Buddhism, tradition, and cultures, overnight stay at the tea house at Khari Khola. The day begins with a climb up to Painyu from Kharikhola. Trekking through the forests and small Sherpa villages we pass through the corridor before reached Painyu. The large hills surrounded the trekking trail and the terrace farms are cultivated the place with vegetation and agriculture. Tiny stone houses ornamented with the colorful plastic or zinc roofs line the villages standing the bamboo poles and hung prayer flags on it. The series of lofty mountains located on the horizon beautifully, while trekking you can encounter with the locals working in the farms in their traditional Sherpa dresses, overnight stay at the tea house. After a delicious breakfast in the morning today we process our trekking destination to Phakding. We will continue ascending from Painyu up to the Surke and following the trail to Phakding. The trail is significantly flattened and curve along the lining of the valley through the thick fragrant forests. While you are walking on the trail into the steep rocky area of the valley there the caravan of mules come across the way and come in your side. Finally, the trek goes along the Dudh Koshi River valley and witnesses the beautiful scenery of alpine forests and rhododendron woodlands and reach at Phakding, overnight stay at the tea house. Today after breakfast we will pass through the several Sherpa settlement until reaching the Jorsalle and take an entry point for Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo. The park has protected many types of endangered wild animals like the snow leopard, Himalayan Monal (national bird of Nepal), and musk deer. On the way our trip we can see the awesome scenery of alpine woodlands and rhododendron forests and pretty snowcapped mountains in the zenith. The trail raises up to Namche Bazaar from the conjunction of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi and some time walking through the strenuous climb up in the uphill will reach the destination of Namche Bazaar. On the horizon, there are beautiful mountains that lie like touching the sky such as Mt. Kongde Ri, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaroo, etc. Overnight stay at the tea house, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Today is the day for adjustment with the altitude as we will spend our time hiking at the top of the Namche Bazaar in Everest View Hotel! After breakfast, we will hike to the Syangboche airport following with the guide as it is the highest airport in the world at 3700m from the sea level. The Everest View Hotel offers you the spectacular views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, Kongde Ri, Holy mountain Khumbila, and other Everest massif. After you observed the Everest and another base camp of the Himalayas you back to Namche Bazaar and also can visit the Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa mountain museum along with our trekking, overnight stay at the tea house. After breakfast in the morning, we will take an easy trail to Kynjuma and descend to Phungi Tengga. We will rest awhile and again trek to uphill inside the alpine forest and rhododendron woodland if you are lucky you may encounter with the musk deer and lophoporus. We will continue our journey on the right coast of Dudh Koshi and reach Tengboche. While we reach Tengboche we will go to visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Everest region located at the altitude of 3860m. The monastery is the main place to see the Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, and numerous mountains in the surroundings. The Monastery is taken as the spiritual hub of the Everest region and Buddhist disciples come to take education by the Lama Guru. It is also known as Dawa Choling Gompa established in 1916 BS, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

Today trail goes through the rhododendron forests and crossing over the suspension bridge over Imja Khola, track raises up to Pangboche, beautiful Sherpa village offers cultural phenomena and the beautiful mountain scenery around. Then we cross by the rocky trail in the sloppy track and cross the small stream then reach the beautiful Sherpa village Dingboche also known as “SUMMER VALLEY”. Overnight stay at the tea house, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

We almost complete the halfway journey to Everest Base Camp as after breakfast we will start our hike towards Nagarjun hill of our another acclimatization day in our trip. Nagarjun hill is just lying above the Dingboche and needs to walk steep up in the dry land and notice that you need to walk slowly in the higher elevation so that you may not get altitude sickness. Approximately walking around 5 hours you will reach the top of the Nagarjun hill and view the awesome scenery of the Everest Massif such as Amadablam (6856m), Lhotse, Lobuche east (6119m), Kangtega (6685) Lobuche West (6119)  Makalu, Thamserku. Makalu is the worlds’ fifth highest mountain in the world. After spending some time at the top then back to the Dingboche and take rest, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Today we set our goal to reach the Lobuche encompassing by the verdant of the Yak grazing terrace and the small hut. We then cross the small stream and reach to the Thukla, rest after while there we proceed our journey to another destination as we walk for two hours steep up to Thukla pass and see the beautiful scenery of Pumori, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Everest, and Nuptse. Processing through the rocky trail we will reach in Lobuche of our destination, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

This is the exciting day in our journey because we are going to complete our trekking to Everest Base Camp. After breakfast trek begins in the rocky trails, somewhere there is looser rock needs to careful and drag your feet slowly in the rock so that you will not fall down and also fit for your physical health to avoid altitude sickness. While you reach Gorakshep then take your lunch there and start your trek to Everest Base Camp through the parallel rocky trail. You will be welcome by Mt. Everest, Khumbu Icefall, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Lingtren, Nuptse Pumori, and other Himalayan peaks. Enjoy after some time in base camp back to Gorakshep and overnight stay there. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

Early in the morning hike in the strenuous trail up to the Kalapathar, you will be awarded by the outstanding view of the golden sunrise from the top of the Mt. Everest. Kalapthar is the best vantage point for the best Himalayan scenery offers the stunning views of Mt, Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Changtse, Khumbutse, Lola, Lingtren Lhotse, and numerous other mountain peaks. After taking photography in Kalapthar back to Gorakshep eat breakfast and trek down to Pheriche, overnight stay there. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

Today we will back to Namche Bazaar crossing by the alpine forests and rhododendron woods. We walk up and down in the rocky trails up to Kyanjuma and the trail leads to Namche Bazaar, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.

 

After breakfast, we are moving steeply downtown towards Lukla crossing by some suspension bridges decorated by the prayer flags above the Dudh Koshi River. The views are awesome on the way ornamented by the pine and rhododendron trees and Mani walls and Chortens. In the evening we reach Lukla and there will have a celebration of a successful journey to Everest Base Camp as per your wish, overnight stay at the lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

 

It will be the breathtaking flight from Lukla to Kathmandu as you will see the gorgeous view of the highest towering mountains and the landscape underneath from the aircraft window. While you are land at the domestic airport of Kathmandu then transfer to the hotel, overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu. Breakfast included.

 

On this day you will spend your time visiting the local market of Ason and observe the Newari lifestyle. Go around Thamel and do shopping as a souvenir to your family and friends overnight stay at the hotel.
