Anytime arrive in Kathmandu as per your flight schedule. Our airport representative welcomes you and transfers to the hotel and explains to you about the following day’s activities. On this day is your rest day and preparation day for the trek and overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning transfer to domestic airport for Lukla flight. The flight is breathtaking in your lifetime experience. The airport is in higher elevation and shortest runway. And trek to Phakding crossing by the trekking trails along with the Mane walls and Chortens touching the green landscapes with the astounding view of Kusum Kangaroo. After breakfast, we walk along the Dudh Koshi River ascending through Himalayan pine and rhododendron forests to the ancient village of Namche Bazaar. The village was used to trading between Nepali and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat, and textiles which are the goods for daily use. Apart from that, you can buy trekking gear for your trek in Namche Bazaar, books shops and handicrafts, as well as other materials, are available. It is the day to acclimatize with lofty altitude and hike up to Syangboche Airport (3780m/12402ft) and walk continues to Everest view hotel for great scenic views of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam Tawach, etc. On the way descend we visit Sherpa cultural museum and Everest photo gallery in the national park surroundings. The trail is easier like cycling route up to Kyngjima, and descending deep into the Dudh Koshi valley at Phungi Thanka and by this point, the trail ascends the right side of the Dudh Koshi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). On the way, you encounter the small Stupa and can see the panorama of various Himalayan series with pine forests. The climb is lengthy but it is worthy of walking in the peaceful environment in the spiritual mountains. After get in Tengboche visit Tengboche monastery also known as Dawa Choling Gompa(Tibetan Buddhist Monastery of the Sherpa community established in 1916 by Lama Guru with strong links to its mother monastery known as Rongbuk Monastery in Tibet, in 1934 was destroyed by an earthquake and was the second time destroyed in 1989 by a fire then rebuilt with the help of volunteers and international assistance, it is the first celibate monastery under the Nyngmapa lineage of the Vajrayana Buddhism. After breakfast walking through the rhododendron forests to Dibuche followed by the suspension bridge after crossing the bridge over Imja Khola trails heads up to Pangboche (3900m), Pangboche is the biggest Sherpa settlement and also station to trek the Amadablam base camp. This day is the interesting day because you will not lose the altitude and your eyes encounter with the beautiful scenery of Mt. Lhotse, Amadablam and other peaks, the route continues through the verdant to Dingboche, knows as the “summer valley”. Overnight stay at the tea house, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included
This day is your second acclimatization day after Namche Bazaar, and you need to six hours hiking to an altitude of 5100m. After breakfast ascends up to Nagarjun Hill (5100m) situated at the top of the summer valley. The main target to climb a higher point is to adjust with the altitude for the trekking to other days. The track is steeply up need to have physical effort; it will take around 4 to 5 hours to reach the top of the Nagarjun Hill. From this point you can have the excellent views of Lobuche East (6119 m), Lobuche West (6145m), Tawache (6367m), Thamserku (6608m) Khangtega (6685m) and Amadablam (6856m). If the weather is clear you can see the Mt. Makalu as well, the world’s fifth highest mountain. After enjoy your time at the top, you descend back to Dingboche and walk at altitude for 2 hours. After lunch in the tea house, rest for the day as afternoon temperature getting down rapidly as the sun sets over mountain tops. After breakfast in the morning, hike up to Thukla valley above the Pheriche in the pasturelands. There is Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240m). Western volunteer doctor and supported by Himalayan Rescue Association, which offers treatment for altitude sickness and other treatment for the trekkers. Continue walking steeply up to the Thukla and way is flat after Thukla pass and reach to the landmark of Lobuche. Overnight stay at the tea house, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
After breakfast walk through the meadows climb up to the rocky trails sighting by the Khumbu Glacier. Straight ahead are Mt. Pumori and other mountain series of Everest Himalayan range. After continue walking for a couple of hours reach the Gorakshep and eat lunch then go towards Everest Base Camp. The elevation is not growing but needs to walk up and down adjusting by the altitude. It is not feeling the higher altitude but needs to cross the rocky looser track somewhere. Approximately after 3 hours of hiking, you will arrive at the base camp and enjoy the exceptional view of the Khumbu icefall and glacier where the Everest expedition starts. Early in the morning hike up to Kalapathar (5545m), the best vantage point to witness Mt. Everest and such other beautiful mountains of spectacular Mahalangur Himalayan range. After the view, we back to Gorakshep to eat breakfast and descend to Pheriche. Overnight stay at the tea house, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
After breakfast walk down to Namche Bazaar crossing over the dry land of Somari and Pangboche. Need to walk steep down from Pangboche to Dibuche and then feet get in the rhododendron forests and along the walk will reach to Tengboche. Again have the steep down to get Phungitenga for 1 hour and 30 minutes walk. After Phungitenga walks uphill to the Launsasa and continues to walk uphill to the Kyngjoma then the way is easy to reach in Namche Bazaar.
Trek steep down to Jorsalle and walk along the strait way and cross the suspension bridge and get Monjo then walk down to Benker in the bank of the Dudh Kosi River. After the walk down then reach in Phakding, will have lunch and rest for a while. Continue your walk will lead you the way to Lukla.
You will fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel, can arrange sightseeing around Kathmandu valley as per your interests.
You have a free day to do. Will manage the vehicle to drop in the airport as per your convenience for your international flight from Tribhuvan International airport and will have a farewell event before departure and say goodbye.
